Kingship is an idle incremental game that takes inspiration from such games as Majesty and The Settlers. Kingship is currently in development and a work in progress. Current version is: 0.2.0
All of the below menus may be moved around the screen freely by mousing over them, then clicking on the drag icon in the top-right of the element. Simply click again to place the menu.
Unit Menu - The unit menu may be toggled by the "U" key, or by clicking on its associated icon in the menu in the bottom-left corner of the screen. This menu will show every member of your town, organized by what they are currently doing. Current HP and Stamina percentages are shown below each unit. If you would like to hide a category, simply click on the blue category header. To select a unit, simply click on that unit's picture. This will bring up the selection window and the summary window for that particular unit.
Resource Menu - The resource menu may be toggled by the "R" key, or by clicking on its associated icon in the menu in the bottom-left corner of the screen. This will show you the current amount, limits, and income for each resource you have discovered. To hide a resource, click on its name when you are moused-over the window. Afterwards, removing the mouse from the menu will cause that resource to be hidden.
Building Menu - The building menu may be toggled by the "B" key, or by clicking on its associated icon in the menu in the bottom-left corner of the screen. This will show you a current list of known buildings, along with their associated build counts. By mousing over a building, you can see the current cost and design of that particular building, as well as a brief description. Buildings that have enough resources present to build are highlighted green - otherwise, they are highlighted in red. By clicking on a building name from the list or clicking the the build button, building mode will be activated, allowing you to place buildings.
Summary Menu - The summary menu is active when a unit or building is selected. It will show all data pertinent to that selection: associated unit, unit name, their home, and their work place. By clicking any of the preview pictures, that unit or building will become the active selection, and the screen will zoom to their current position, even if they are on a different map.
Selection Menu - The selection menu is active when a unit or building is selected. It shows you general location about the selection (position, map, etc.) and allows you to take various actions by clicking on the relevant buttons.
As Kingship is partly an idle game, much of the game time will be spent hands-off. However, there are many things you can do to influence the game manually.
Selecting Units - By clicking on a unit on the map or in the unit window, you will select that unit. This unit and their associated buildings will be highlighted by blinking blue, and the selection and summary menus will open. You can use these to take action with that unit or find its associated buildings.
